Man, the lighter color should bring out any defects in the body, but that looks amazing. You really did a great job on that quarter repair:smokin:

Tail gate is all done less a skim of glazing putty. Hopefully, I'll primer it with the SWB parts tomorrow.

Didn't grab a pic before I left for the day, just one with the patch fitted.

I'm constantly surprised that you are doing such a great job on something as annoying as body work....on 2 different trucks at the same time!

Im blown away

....told ya.

Gray dash or not gray dash?

The body colors are going to be Lily white and Pyrite Mica.

Interior will be all Lily White with 3rd gen 4runner Oak cloth interior.

Clearly, I'm no purest. I'm just afraid it'll be a lot of white. Maybe not once carpet and door panels are in.

Pyrite Mica:

The 3rd gen cloth seats are hard pretty damn uncomfortable! The leathers seem better. Maybe a pair of leathers with a nice cover (Okole or similar).

No input on the gray dash, eh?

did the patches in the rear door sills today. Getting pretty close to ready for interior paint.

Patched a little on the lower quarter between the bottom second and third rib. Apparently there's some spot welds right there. I found some high spots there while blocking that turned out to be rust bubbles from the back.

Had to straighten a little on the front of the wheel well on the right side too.

I neglected to take a pic of the left side prior to the patch or to the patches welded in without filler and I didn't want to primer them because I didn't want to clean the gun just for just a little bit of primer. I'll get them in the next couple of days. it is solid metal under the filler and thicker than stock so hopefully the rear door won't wear a hole in them again.

Had to spend the first part of the day fighting with the guys putting a spinkler head in a welding booth.
then I patched a bunch of holes in the right a piller.
Then I stripped the tailgate of parts and paint on the inside, sandblasted the hardware, and pulled a bunch of dents.
Got to use my stud gun/puller. Worked great.
