A lot of people are deleting the 3rd row, or even just one side of it. It's tempting to reuse Mr. T's sturdy seat bracket, but not always practical. Post up pictures of what you've put in this space and how you did it. What bracket did you use? Purchased or fabbed? How did you go about designing it? How well is it working for you?

I'd start with a picture, but I haven't done it yet! That's why I'm asking, and I think it would be useful to have all the current options in one place.

I think I'd like to put a large ammo can on one side with tools. It's exactly the same width as the wheel well, I just need a good bracket to attach it to.

I haven't done anything permanent there, but the brackets make pretty convenient anchor points. I might need one of those ammo cans...

:hhmm:

With this ammo can the factory bracket puts it a little too high n my opinion. It interferes with the window and I'm concerned about breaking the glass. Sitting down on the wheel well is pretty good and gives access from the window.

I'm thinking of cutting the rear part of the bracket and sleeving it with tubing, then attaching a bracket to that tubing and the ammo can to that bracket. That way I can pull it off and out of the truck without tools. Still thinking though.

Where do you guys get those rubber diamond tread liners?

I think I'm going to put milk crates on mine. I'm thinking / hoping that with some plywood underneath them and a saw for holes combined with some hose clamps to secure to the brackets that might work okay.

Somebody posted in the"What did you do with your 80 series this weekend?" Thread that they got a 4x8 anti-fatigue mat from Costco for around $30. It was within the last few days.

Here's one option similar to pic above: 1997 Toyota Land Cruiser | Cargo Mat and Trunk Liner for Cars SUVs and Minivans | WeatherTech.com

I just ordered this to cover my drawers (in the truck, not my underwear): Amazon.com : Rubber Cal Diamond-Grip Floor Mat, Dark Grey, 2mm x 4 x 6-Feet : Exercise Mats : Sports & Outdoors

I mounted my Puma on the driver's side and 2 5 gallon cans on passenger

How? Pics? I see a lot of compressors in the back. Why not under the hood? Are they not rated for the elements?
