I have a 3FE complete engine I pulled last winter from a 1990 FJ62, it was running before I pulled it and I compressioned tested it at 140-155 across the board. I did not notice any blue or white smoke at anytime while I was running the engine, so as far as I can tell it is in great condition. I bought it for myself to convert my 40 over to fuel injection, but now I am selling my 40 and no longer need the egnine. It comes complete with the ECU, EFI wirring harness.......... it does not include the the starter, PS, or alternator.

This would be perfect for anyone wanting to convert their 40 55 or 60 over to EFI :cool: or some one needing to replace a blown 3F

The engine is located in North Augusta, SC and I am asking for $450 OBO

JP how many miles are on it?
Would it be worth it to have it sit waiting when my 3fe goes out???

I know my compression #'s were not perfect when I bought mine 3 + yrs ago.
 
matt the mileage was right around 200k on the clock..........

I was myself going to keep it for the 62 as a back up, but I think I have decided if mine goes I am just going to swap in an 80 drivetrain, plus my sister is tired of storing the engine for me :grinpimp:
 
Man if I had the mechanical knowledge to switch it out I would be all over it!
