I have had Weather Tech mats in every car Ive owned for last 15+ years and absolutely loved them..........except for the 100 Series. They fit like total dog s*** in the LC. If the first vehicle I bought them for was the LC I would have never purchased another set.

Agreed. They fit great in the Sequoia I had. 100 is p!ss poor.

I think I talked to 3d when I was looking for mats (still looking) and they needed a minimum run of 250 to setup a new the new parts.
I never thought I could get to 250 so I didn't post it up here.

I'll disagree on the Weathertech options, the ones we've have in multiple Lexus vehicles have been perfect but I never found a set for the LX. Have them in mulitple GX, RX, ES, etc. They have greatly improved over the years, the latest floor liners fit about as well as the carpet they sit on.
Maybe the LC/LX scans are just old and never updated to match the new manufacturing updates.

@JBerger which WeatherTech mats are you referring to? The ones I've had - the "Laser Fit"? - are pretty bad. But @LJE posted a pic of WT's other style that seems to fit well. My Laser Fit WTs were strange - the driver side fit great, damn near perfect. But the passenger side was way off. WT sent a new set and they were same.

The other thing about the Laser Fit mats is the thin sides - they curl in pretty quickly and look cheap.

The Lloyds work well. They're thick but flexible, kinda floppy so they conform and lie flat.

Looking at that Lloyd, and considering it's simplicity, isn't the same as getting a roll of rubber mat and cutting to size? I got a 3rd row seat on passenger side and no seat on driver's, so paying $115+tax and s&h for a plastic or rubber flat mat that won't fit properly on one of it's sides seems no good, but I believe you can buy a roll of this material, probably at same cost, that will be big enough for all the mats cut outs. Thoughts?

btw, i have same type of mat taken from a Tesla that we had at work, and it fitted almost perfect on the fronts.. free too!

I’ve come really close to ordering these but shipping is pretty steep.

Something appears to have changed for the better with their shipping. These only come up about $25 more than whole car of weathertechs, and that’s with weathertechs on sale.

Tariffs might apply to

You might also have to apply tariff charges to these. Looks like the company is out of Malaysia. I do like these though. Much better looking than the weathertechs.

I'd love to find a "bulk" source for that same mat. If you find one, please (!) share it. I bought all three rows, so having the 3rd row match was an incentive to not go rogue on the source/style. But since then, I started playing with a project that might be better if I could find a source of that mat.

JBerger,

Yeah they told me 200 sets, but I don't actually have a contact name there, the CS replies never have names.
I have also started this conversation with 3W, mainly because their products look very similar. Hoping we how enough interest here that ONE or both of these companies see how underserved the LC/LX community is in this aspect, and get to it.
I have seen makers chime in on this post, maybe a few of them could express the need better than I am currently able to, and could get this boat off the sandbar?

So I've been looking at all weather mats (and did plenty of searches here first). I decided to go WeatherTech, but wen I received them, the front row fit was less than, and the two mats combined had one hole for the hooks on the floor. The LX has two hooks per side. Called WT and got tremendous customer service. But unfortunately the scans originally done for these vehicles don't account for the hooks, and really didn't result in that great of a fit overall. I returned them with no hassles.
But I got to thinking, in my previous cars (a '22 Honda Ridgeline, a '15 Audi A4, wife's '25 CR-V) we've put 3D mats in them and been very pleased. I reached out, and 3DUSA doesn't make any mats LC/LX before 2008. But their development team reached out to me and said it would take an order to scan and start production.

My question is, is there enough interest in the 100 series community to move on something like that?
I don't really know how I'd even move forward on that, so this post is really to gauge interest as much as anything.

If this is how snug fit it would look like for the front, 2nd and 3rd row of the 100 I’ll be interested in getting a full set.

I still have the carepet mats in my truck because every time I go to look for a good replacement I can't find one that is good enough to justify the cost. My mats are getting pretty bad, though and I would pony for a good set that fits well. PLEASE make this happen.

What if the guys who already make a carpet kit for the 100’s just made some carpet mats that looked OE?

There are better than OEM carpet mats made by folks already here in the forum, I'd just like a set of great muck mats that are similar to the new weather tech floor liners or the 3d mats.

I love 3d mats and have had them in every car but my LX. I will buy a front set of you make it happen.

Agreed, when looking for carpet replacement, but not all-weather mats as discussed here.
