Just ordered this tent. Jet.com - Prices Drop As You Shop

At this price, I'm fully prepared for it to be considered "disposable" but I hope it actually lasts a little while.

I have a really bad-ass 4 season tent that would probably withstand a hurricane, but it is a major PITA to put up. I've been jonesing for a new "easy" tent for a few years, but could never justify the cost since we sleep in the truck half the time anyway. I plan to spray it down with water repellant shoe spray and tape the seams depending on what they look like. I might try to figure out some sort of vestibule out of a tarp as well. Next time it rains, I'll throw it out in the yard and see how it does.

With jet.com promo code, it was only $36, which is less than the beer budget for my average camping trip, so I figured not much to lose.

92 -1/2"(L) x?53 -1/4"(W) x 43 -1/4"(H)

So just a 2-person in width, but a little long.

That one looks similar in design to the coleman pop up tent we have.
We've had it for a couple years and it has served well.
I let the boy and his friends take it out when they want to camp out on the property.
So far, it has survived them.
It is super easy to set up - that's the whole idea right? - but takes some getting used to to fold it back up for storage.
How does that company compare to coleman? I have no idea, but the design has it's merits.

I might have to grab this inexpensive bathroom shelter. It could do double duty as the tent I lend out to a certain relative next time he wants to borrow and wreck my stuff. Have fun curled up in a ball on the dirt, jerk!

I bought one of these years ago and still use it countless times. Practice folding it up a few times to get the hang of it but wrll worth it.
