Yes. * WITH STOCK WHEELS. You will get a little rubbing at full compression, but no damage. Ran this on trails before my first lift. If you run wheels set further out - then you will hit the sheet metal potentially.is it ok to do the 305/70 in a stock suspension no lift?
Thank you, just wondering if the gas milage will be very different, if no I will go for itYes. * WITH STOCK WHEELS. You will get a little rubbing at full compression, but no damage. 305's are heavier tires with more rolling resistance. Gas mileage will suffer. Tread type matters. IMHO, AT's run 1-2mpg worse than Michelin street tires, and MT get 1-2 worse than that. I get between 10.5 and 12.5 MPG running MT.Thank you, just wondering if the gas milage will be very different, if no I will go for it
I am going KO3s ATs... did you feel any real difference offroad with the wider tires? I don't do heavy offroad, mostly gravel...305's are heavier tires with more rolling resistance. something to think about then... my other option is 285/75, I am restoring a set of OEMs, thinking white letters for the retro look... the one in my profile is goneHonestly, no. With 295s you are going for the stout look. For general off roading / light crawling, there is no difference, IMHO. But now I run pizza cutters... 255/85/16 that sit 2" inside the fenders...
