Have a 3" OME lift and want to put on theses tires on stock rims (1996 FZJ80), think they will be okay or would I need spacers? thanks!

You'll be more than fine with a 3" lift.

What size tires are you running now? Post up some pics.

Nice! Be sure and post up some "after" pics too.

305s run and wheel fine on a stock suspension. With 3", you are golden.

Thanks!, they look excellent! No problems with rubbing?

good looking rig. once you go white you know its right!!!
best color for an 80!!!

Got the same shoes, run great and wheel great. No problems.

I have 305 Duratracks with a 3" lift ... I get a little rub on the rear at full stuff on the frame rail.... nothing to worry about though

Only difference in the two tire sizes, 305/70r16 vs 285/75r16 is the width of the tires, about 3/4 of an inch of difference. Google metric tire conversion and you can find a calculator that will convert metric to standard.

Only $1.00 more each from discount tire direct. Anyone buy from them? They have free shipping which is nice.

I have bought many sets of tires from them with no issues. Of course, a warranty costs extra and will automatically be added to your cart (be sure to remove the warranty and valvestems from your cart if you dont want them). Also, they will price match, but only on prices that include free shipping (Tire rack might be cheaper, but they charge for shipping so discount tire wont match the price).

Have heard good things of discount tire direct, however never dealt with them before.

Also load range on the 285 are better.

Should the load rating be a concern with my bumpers? I have a roof rack too. Or is the load range sufficient with the 305's?
