I can't get it to rub. It must be when I aired the tires down.

Nothing much. No marks in the tire.

What PSI are you at when aired down? I don't have any rubbing, but I haven't had the need to air down yet. That will change this coming weekend in Death Valley.

Thanks for taking the time to post the pics of the rubbing, wngrog. Must be conditional when aired down. I don't plan to run that way all too often, but if I do, I'll be aware this is possible.

Order of 4 BFG LT305/65R18 AT T/A KO 2 arrived today. Will be mounting to 2014 Tundra alloys when I get them repainted.

Here they are compared to Michelin 285/50 R20 Latitude Tour HP All-Seasons. Installed wheels and tires were the PO's doing, not mine :flush:

Also, Slee AHC Override will be installed to help with any clearance issues.

They are a fantastic tire. I run the original KOs on my 60 and put KO2s on the wife's Sequoia. The KO2s are superior in every way.

So anxious to get mine mounted! Spent yesterday afternoon washing the Tundra alloys, then the sun went down. Spent today sanding the clearcoat and only got through three wheels after 7 hours, ugh. Tedium. You'd be surprised how difficult it is to get into the curves on the face of a wheel with scotchbrite or sand paper. Initially thought I'd only be painting the face of the wheels, but it appears proper wheel painting includes inside the wheel as well as the back of the wheels face, but I digress and tangent...

Hopefully will wrap up prep tomorrow when the paint arrives and then have them on the rig by Wednesday or so. Will post up before and afters.

LLC.....that is why the powdercoater makes his money.

I did that once then everything goes to powder

Some of us gotta learn the hard way

I told myself the same when I painted during an interior home renovation, "NEVER. AGAIN. I'll source this out next time.". About to head out to begin work on the last wheel and then revisit the others for completion. One step closer to gettin' these KO2s on! The anticipation is real!

Wheel shop said it would rub. I just smiled, knowing it wouldn't :smokin:

Big thanks to those who have come before me!

Looks great. What's your next item?

A couple irons in the fire. Pretty minor stuff, really. Have the interior out from refoaming all the serviceable speakers of the Levinson system, so that'll have to go back in. Have the door LEDs from Paul (@pfran42) that need to go into the door panels and the Cree backups. Have LEDs from SBL remaining for the front parking/markers, then still more T3/T4 LEDs to replace the incandescents in my interior switches as well as the Slee AHC override and LED flasher to remedy the hyperblinking of the new LED bulbs.

I tried to "package" these projects together so I don't have to duplicate efforts and risk stress damage to the rig by accessing some of these not-meant-to-be-accessed-so-often areas. Ordered and received a bag of the common trim clips for the interior panels, but there's like 3 or 4 other types used around the vehicle, especially the engine bay and fender wells. This'll complete phase 1|2 of the build. Then, when funds recoup, it's on to sliders, bumpers, rack, etc.

EDIT: OH! Antenna mast replacement arrived today as well. That'll hopefully be an easy and satisfying fix

Perfection, is this running a lift? I'm still trying to buy my first 100 series, but this combo (and the color I'm hunting for) is incredible.

Ran K/O's on my stock Raptor and loved the tire, I've heard great things about the KO2!

No lift. This is at stock AHC "N" ride height.

I ended up "settling" on this rig. First choice was the LC, but those I did find were either Grandma Beige, over my budget, too old, too worn or too sold. This rig showed up and, while not perfect, worked out well enough to pull the trigger. Definitely could have done worse :)

Can you repost this image or new ones? I'm currently in the market for what sounds like an almost identical setup but would love to see this beaut before pulling the trigger. BTW this is post #1 for me, new to the offroad scene after picking up an 05 LX, but these forums have been a wealth of information and I can't wait to blow a hole in my wallet. Now lets see these pics! :D

This may be a repoast but here's mine after I got them

Had the spydertrac 1.25's here, they've since been removed.

In the past 5 month I've put close to 6k on them and so far very impressed! Some people say they don't do well in the snow, and in some circumstances no tire does. Been on top on several feet and I can't complain, great choice imho
