For those wondering can these LX 700OT really wheel in stock form? Are they really the 300 series? Here a couple from black bear pass in stock form (except for slightly bigger tires 285/70s). Shout out to our group in Crockies going down the pass. Amazing guys. Chin survived unscathed and it is amazing how much clearance the AHC gives you - especially with bigger tires. Only had one kiss in the right side step for good measure. Time for sliders.

When were you on the trail? I was out there Wed-Sat and couldn't get on the trail due to weather, etc.

Our group was VERY lucky in terms of weather. I heard they closed the trail (and Imogene too, I think) right after we passed. We were in the 10am group on Wed lead by Patch. It was meant to be.

LX run.

Any significant scrapage/ damage? I'm going to be doing the trails around ouray and aspen/crested butte area? Don't know if i should take my 80 or 300. Would like to trade up a 2028 model if they do significant updates so want to keep damage free for now.

Are you on Middle Swan?
Good eye. Clockwise Swan river loop + St. John’s/deer creek.

We did the optional party line on the way back down, will share some video later.

Only kissed my chin, but I did the optional hard water crossing line coming down the Ouray side (next to the bridge). Dissent drug both bumpers up the same obstacle so I’m pleased with my line. Zero contact on black bear in the rain.

You’ll be all good so long as you don’t take the party line.

Very cool! One my of my favorite trail systems and you're just above one of my favorite camp spots near that loop. Was there just before you...posted a pic in the 100/200 photos sections but I love that area of the state!

Made a trip out to Sanage Adventure Off Road park in Nagoya in June. It's not too far from Toyota City and the famous Yoshiwara, Toyota Auto Body/Arakawa plant. Sanage serves as a test course in collaboration with Toyota and houses a lot of history including Dakar racers and other memorabilia. A number of 300s out there, including some you can rent and take out on the course. I highly recommend this as a travel destination. Make the trip out while the Yen is low and the dollar is high.

A few pics...

Hey everyone, I've been lurking in the forums for a while but finally making a post. Had an LC250 for about two years and jump to a LX700h a few months ago. So far loving the extra power and solidity of the LX platform. This past weekend I installed some rock sliders, upsized the tires to 285/70/R18s, and gave it and unreasonable amount of tire shine :frown:.

Are the rock sliders frame mounted?

Yes. They bolt to the frame. These are the Westcott Design sliders. I had similar ones on my lc250 as well.
Did it require drilling new holes like what Slee has? I'm curious on how they work around the AHC, which seems like it's in the way.

They require rounding up a square hole and drilling an extra hole (which I opted not to drill for now since I am in South FL so wont be going over rocks any time soon). They bolt to some of the AHC pump screws as well. They have a video on their YT showing the installation, I can share some pics of how the install looks as well

It's a beauty. Did you go with black or stone interior? Nori is ridiculously gorgeous with the sunlight on it. My OT is fully ppf'd and ceramic coated, so I only wash it once every couple months or after a trip/offroading. I take it to a manual car wash and no matter how much I tell them NOT to use tire shine, I always leave the car wash with 4 black beaming shine circles under the car. It goes away after a couple days - fortunately. 😅
