I agree with HODGES. I think those'll look awesome, especially closer in towards the center. I've followed this build and it's awesome! you have a sweet ride man.

Thanks for the feedback guys. We will be getting the frame movement addressed first and then looking to install these when making other modifications to the hood.

Thanks to ShrockWorks for the new front bumper that my FJC will be sporting.

I had the opportunity to see the one they were working on for the FJ below a few months back and came away quite impressed with the bumper and attention to detail. I had seen many of the 4Runner and Nissan bumpers, which speak for themselves, online before, but seeing their products up close you definitely get a better appreciation for the quality of the product. The fit and finish on the bumper is second to none.

Dave will knock out the final tube work to accomodate a few things on my FJC

mocking up the Shrockworks front bumper, sorry for the cell phone pics. I've never had a vehicle that was harder to photograph...

Another teaser shot. I'll get some more pictures tomorrow. Not finshed yet, but will be a little while before the additional tube work is added.

Cross tubes over the engine and tubes to to the frame still to be added, but here is where she stand right now. Tube clamps in there so front bumper can be removed and engine bay components still accessible. Definitely stiffened things up a good bit and its pretty cool right now cause it gives you a good feel for how much flex there is on the front of the frame and in the chassis normally.

Sorry, few of the photos didn't turn out that well due to the humidity/moisture on the lens.

Ha, I think the frame showed me first that it likes to move over an inch from where you set bump...tires and UCAs were getting to friendly with the fenders. Forgot to post up the shots of the bumper. After I get it powdercoated winch and lights will go in.

Crack on the LCA mount as you can see below. Figured I'd mention it so other can keep an eye out as I don't know if anyone else has had a crack in that area.

Dave addressed the crack and added gussets

Looks fantastic, seriously well done. Really like the way you incorporated the bumper into the upper frame/shock hoop/front clip support system (??? sorry for the nomenclature errors). Beautiful rig...

You have a wide ass end. Haha.

Looks to be 6-7" wider than the stock in pic.

I recall the 60 only adding 3" over OE, but has to be more.

His definately looks wider than mine; however, I know that we have the same rear axle. I think it all comes down to the backspacing and tires on his.

Rear runs spacers to come closer to matching the front track width. 1" or so wider than the front. Backspacing on the wheels is pretty high which keeps the track width in check, 4.5" or 4.75" don't recall off the top of my head.

Thanks Jerry. Need to meet up with you for an east coast wheeling trip at some point. Lots of work still to do on the FJC, but its definitely a pleasure to get out and drive the thing these days.

I love that front bumper! Man this ride is sweet! Great job!

Thanks. It has been a really enjoyable project.
