My ‘01 Lexus has the immobilizer to deal with.
not sure if it has been mentioned, the cruiser 2UZs have a rear sump oil pan that is needed for a solid axle truck. If you get a Tundra engine, you have to fab/buy a oil pan and pickup $$
I cheated and bought a new wiring harness. It’s the only thing I’ve paid to have done on my build. Had to deal with the immobilizer and trick ECU into thinking there is still an automatic trans with the R150 manual behind it now.
I emailed the Aussie guys a few times about the H55 bellhousing adapter but could never get them. And my brand new Marlin Crawler built transmission was 1/3 of the price of a H55.
I don’t see the centered rear output and offset axles being an issue. The 80 axles are very far offset really.
