Good day guys

I'm looking for some advise here. I am trying to remove the rocker assembly on my 2F so I can remove the head, but it seems to be stuck to the head.

I am loosening the rocker bolts a little at a time in the correct sequence, but the assembly does not budge. Eventually all the bolts are very loose and there is no movement at all. Some of the valves springs are still compressed. I have even tried some gentle taps with a wooden hammer but im nervous I am overlooking something.

Am I missing something here or does it require additional persuasion to make it move? If so, what is the best way to encourage it to break free without doing damage?

Looks like it's still fastened down
Yep. I don't get it. You have 6 towers there that you need to remove the pairs of bolts out of. In order to take the double nut valve cover riser bolts out....you should cinch down a nut on top of the lower nut (locking it in place then) remove the bolts completely.

Hi guys

Thanks for the manual, though I am already following it.

In the pic supplied, the rocker bolts are still in place but are all loose. I would expect the assembly to start to lift out a bit as I back off the bolts because the valve springs should push it upwards as I back off the bolts?

Ah this makes sense. I didnt realize that you have to take the riser bolts out like that. I was just loosening the lower nut. Sorry guys, complete nube here, manual is great but not always very clear.

I will try that and hopefully that will help me.
