No clue here, but would this work on my bj42? IT is 24v, not sure about the amperage or model info?

I believe the stock Bj42 is rated 20A @ 24V so having extra amperage (30A) is not a bad thing. If it were less then that would be an issue.
I hope that answers your questions and by searching around I have noticed that this is a pretty good deal as other 24V regulators list between $120-$180.
