20R vacuum secondary diaphragm (2 Viewers)

Hello,

Can anyone point me towards a source for the vacuum diaphragm that operates the secondaries on a 20r Carb? I'm having a really hard time finding one.

If no source exists is there a way to repair these old diaphragms? I have a sneaking suspicion that mine failed recently. Have not pulled off to confirm, but if I'm getting in there I'd rather replace it regardless.

I rebuilt that carb when I had it and I'm pretty sure the rebuild kit I used had that diaphragm.

Maybe it’s still good then.

I finally got back behind the carb and looked around. The arm for the vacuum secondary diaphragm had popped off the linkage and it’s also missing a return spring. Maybe that’s my issue! I’ll get those two items addresses and see what happens.

Dealing with an issue where it starts misfiring under load above 3000 rpm’s.
