FYI: Brandywine Mica and Blue Onyx Pearl are discontinued for 2020. Also, confirmed there are no changes in 2020 for LC (other than Heritage of course).

Silver, Black, Magnetic Grey, Blizzard Pearl are continued...

Brandywine is the best and I'm not biased either. With only black, white, grey and silver.......the LC I have will likely be my last new one.

I love our blizzard but it does seem like they focus on the “old man Lexus” colors. It would be nice to see at least one that is loud.

Curious if this info is for US market only, or globally. Four colors seems pretty limited for a truck that’s still sold in good numbers in foreign markets.

Dubai likes basically ONE color in the dunes...

Since the 2020 Heritage Edition will only be available in black or white, looks like I'll be the owner of a color I swore I'd never own - white. I had black before and swore I'd never own that color again.

I am in the process of getting a 2019 right now. I love the black with the blueish purple metal flack, but in the end I decided on the gray. I just could not think about trying to keep that black paint looking good.

With a bit of Poking around at global & national color preferences, it’s clear Toyota is basically just paying attention to the numbers.

-A whopping 70% of the entire global vehicle sales are greyscale. -So black, white, silver and grey. White leads at the top and it’s not even close...

That leaves only 30% of the global market to split between all other vehicles colors,

Here’s an interesting graphic from 2015...color choice by country. If you can’t zoom in dnough for the tiny text...just look at the basic circle charts.

It’s a bitch to keep looking good. In the right light the metallic blue does look amazing though.

I still want the black but know I will be happier with the magnetic gray.

I really don’t like the way the LC looks in black. I think it looks far better in Magnetic Grey, and that doesn’t include the difficulty in keeping a black vehicle clean.

From a retail/builder prospective. You always always always go with a neutral color. Last year we built over 100 Tacos/Tundras/4Runners (not to mention a dozen or so LCs) and when we choose to go with a "color" (red/blue, etc) because they typically take 3x longer to find a buyer. I think this logic is true with any truck buyer (let alone any "built" truck buyer) from any manufacture. As for regional/global colors, that I don't know, but i would think this decision is US-only (maybe US/Canada), but I would really appreciate a color choice too.

Correction..... Looks like blue will be discontinued in December.. So we may see some blue 2020's from August 2019 - Dec 2019 production dates. Not after Dec 2019

I have consistently hear the same story as Eric said and what shows in the chart from @Markuson. White is apparently the easiest to resell. Maybe some of this is influenced by fleet purchases. But that is me just speculating.

What intrigues me about this decision on the part of Toyota is that Land Rover did something similar with the wind down of their LR4. In the last couple years of that model they came out with the Landmark edition. Special trim and badge. An assortment of accessories that, to be honest, felt like they were coming from the remaining parts inventory. (Stuff they hadn't sold and wouldn't fit on their radically new model.). Color options were just black and white. I assumed at the time that they were going with the safe colors so they wouldn't have an issue selling all of the LR4s before they introduced the new model (which they call Discovery - I'll withhold my opinion on that model given that I loved my LR4).

Again, just speculation but it seems to me that with the Heritage version and the limiting of colors we are entering the wind down of the 200 series. (I know there is a whole thread on this speculative topic.)

At least the white will look good with those BBS wheels. Just my opinion.

Blizzard Pearl is not really white..... just an observation. I actually kind of like it after owning one.

My 1998 LC100 was Champagne Pearl (not mine, but same year/color):
