So we tore into the timing case to swap out all the gears.

That is the 100/101-series gears coming out.

Not sure, market specific due to fuel quality?

There was at least two different stickers available. Here is the other one.

It just says replace the belt.

No one ever replaces those injection lines here.

My aus spec HDJ79.

I think you will find that one is for the HDJ79, the other for a HDJ100 (with the injection lines). I haven't been able to find out for sure but it might be affected by A/T vs M/T, on the HDJ100.

Well, this FTE was for a HDJ101.

It most likely is due to one being an EGRed engine vs. non-EGR.
