The front end went fairly smoothly. The rear, however, was a total PITA. 88chevota got back to me after it was too late and basically said that the rear shouldn’t be attempted. There just wasn’t enough room.
I was too far in at this point, so I would have to make it work. Last resort, I’d just do a springover.

We had temps in the 20’s and teens (I live in tropical Memphis)...
Snow...
We had to work in Third World conditions just to keep the rain out...
To top it off, we didn’t even have proper tools. A tiny welder in a shopping cart and a Makita angle grinder did most of the heavy lifting...

We found a dimly lit loading dock to flex it out and test the welds...

I remember camping that NYE and whining it was brutal, but came back and read about the crazy 36 hybrid shenanigans and had to just STFU

There was still lots of finishing touches to do - namely rebuild the front axle, modify and rebuild a rear FF housing (it was mocked up with the SF from the donor), and find the right springs.
Finally the day had come...
There would be no further test driving, we would test this thing out in real world conditions in backcountry Utah. If it broke, it would likely have to be set ablaze and reported stolen. AAA would not be able to make it to us for a tow.
Fully loaded, and ready to find some more adventure...

What do you get if you cross the highly acclaimed cruiser shop, Valley Hybrids, and the Dirty Memphis rappers, the Three 6 Mafia? Three 6 Hybrids, of course. We are dirty and underprivileged, but work with what we have.
And I was about to go do some hoodrat sh!t with my friends. In the driveway pic above, I was loaded for bear, about to embark on a life-altering journey, a mind-boggling trip onto sacred lands and secret locations.
It was a trip with double rainbows and at least six different dimensions of epicocity (epic levels of consciousness). It is possible it may never be experienced again, but you can read about it here...

That was a surreal day. We made like 4 or 5 wish/predictions and EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THEM came ****ing true!
For example, take this full-on 180 degree YosemiteBear62 grade double rainbow. Insane.
