Another one from the new owner. Kinda miss the GX not gonna lie. I definitely need the room of the tundra but man that GX was comfy!

I’d feel the same way if/when I got rid of the 460. I feel the same way about selling the 470. At least YOU are getting pics. LOL

i miss all my old rigs. wish i had a ten car garage so i could just keep them all
Ha-ha!!
I'd need a 30 car garage, literally!! to save everything I've had, from my '67 Mustang and other '60's vintage American along with '74 BMW 2002 (series, not year), my Porsche's: '74 914 (2.0) and '83 944, other European makes and models and many, many more! Oh, and least I forget about my bikes! Gixxer, VFR, Ninja!
Ahhh, miss them all...
Although I am playing with the idea of another Porsche. :hmm: Depends upon the wife.

^ This. I’ve owned a ton of vehicles (nearly three dozen) and I’d LOVE to get some back.

The cream of the crop were; Chevy Camaro 3000GT VR-4, 200SX SE-R and (yes) my 2003 Mercury Mountaineer with the 4.6 modular V8. That Mountaineer was sublime. THE most comfortable seats EVER. Like ****ing luxury couches.

But I digress.

Guess the new owner wants to be like me 😂. He and his wife just came over and bought my popup trailer. They’re ready for new adventures with their new born on the way.

Oh and these badass JBA upper control arms came in for the tundra.

That’s awesome. My 470 buyer isn’t updating me at all. I miss seeing that beautiful 470.

I wish I had that problem with my 100 series Landcruiser. I've had two subsequent owners contacting me, asking about this and that and what all I've done along with posting on the 100 series MUD forum. I just tell them search my login name in the 100 series forum and see what I've posted. Generally when I sell something, all I care about is that it's appreciated and don't really want to hear from the new owners. Also had this happen with an F350 crewcab overlander I built some time ago. The new owner found out my contact info (from a piece of paper left in the cab) and asked me all about it. I don't mind an initial call to fill them in, but as long as it's not ongoing.

I appreciate the kind words. It was sad to see it go but glad it went to a good home. I do prefer the truck though. The size is exactly what the family needed. But it definitely doesn’t rise as nice 😆.

I agree the Tundra is nice. I have a Platinum with only 45,000 miles yet if I had to choose between our 2018 GX460 or the Tundra it would be tough. The Tundra driving everyday does get old where as the GX is small and more nimble. I love my wifes GX especially since it's lifted. She wants it built for overlanding and really don't care what it takes just wants it done. So, soon hopefully I will start the build again.

I don’t know how people off road the 200 series LC. This tundra is so damn big and wide I couldn’t image hitting trails.

The 200 is 2" narrower, 2-3" lower and anywhere from 36"-53" shorter depending on the cab and bed configuration of the Tundra. I'll be honest though, the Cruiser does still feel large on trails, but not full-size truck large. When I miss having a truck I really only miss the convenience of the bed, in every other way I usually prefer the SUV.
