Not sure. This is our first pop up camper. Not incredible quality but works for us. The kids beat it up pretty badly haha

I too personally prefer the less crowded dispersed sites at the end of a bumpy road, but I also sleep/camp in the GX solo so far. I know the amenities are nice to have, especially for the fam!Well, I guess you're not doing "dispersed" camping!

Not when we have the kids and dogs with us. Too many things to bring so we prefer having somewhere to wash up and restrooms available. No one fishing around us so it’s all ours! HahaWell, I guess you're not doing "dispersed" camping!

I do plan on more remote camping without the kids this summer and into fall.

Fishing was slow but we ended up snagging 2 bass right before we headed back. We figured out exactly what the fish liked at the end. Will head back tonight and hopefully snag some pictures (my phone overheated while on the kayak).
Unless I see the fish, it's just a fish story! Ha-ha!

Either a mountain whitefish or northern pikeminnow. They sure like to fight hard.
I caught a fish with a downward “sucker” face while back country trout fishing here in the Appalachian of SC last year. It was smaller than those and remember it pulling like a much bigger fish.
