Glad to hear they fixed it! That’s wild they sent him a full new set. Good on CBI!My buddy got one of the first sets with this issue and they actually sent him a new set that corrected this, I believe they were simply shorter instead of a radius cut to the inside corner.

Funny I was thinking the same. I see a lot of people just cut the front and side steps. Not too many cut the rear, but I’d like to have it match the side height. To my eye, the rear hitch and exhaust sit too low for this aggressive of a cut on the rear bumper. Got any pictures of yours? Post them up!Im a fan as I did the cuts to mine. It's a nice option if you forgo bumpers or as an interim until you do. I say go for it.
I’ll have to check this out. Thanks!![]()

Rear bumper cut while waiting on my LFD rear bumper.Funny I was thinking the same. I see a lot of people just cut the front and side steps. Not too many cut the rear, but I’d like to have it match the side height.
Good call. Luck for me I know a guy that just bought a tube bender and welder. To keep a stealth off road look, I think it's great!
But I'd run 1" steel tubing along the bottom of the front and rear bumpers, tucked up just enough not to be noticed but down far enough to scrape first on a steep approach or decent angle. Make sure they're still attached to the frame, front and rear to give good support without bending up into your bumper. And if you don't really like slider steps, do the same thing with heavy gauge steel rectangle tubing, maybe 1" x 4" x (whatever length needed) and run that along the sides, tucked underneath if you should need something to bang on!
Thanks! They have less than 5k miles on them. $600 obo and will throw in a set of tred recovery boards.I don't need them but if I hear someone is looking, I ll send them your way. What is your asking price?

Nice! Was between those and the toyos for me but discount tire only had the falkens in a 285/75/17 in a E load (not sure if the falkens come in a C Load in that size) so I did C load on the toyos.285/70r17 falken wildpeak at3w. Wife has the same on her 4runner.
