Definitely out, we were going to have Mathew's bachelor shindig the 28th turns out he's got to work so it's been bumped to the 21st. Ya'll have fun.

Hey what time does the pig roast actually start? I won't be able to wheel unfortunately (having the :princess: with, truck not ready, etc) so we'll just come for the food and good company. :D

hmm--last year we met at DT at 10:00 AM Sat (I think). For those camping Fri night we caravan over from Dave's and for those coming in Sat morning we just met at the DT check in bldg.

My little truck is going to be at ACC while the pig roast is happening so it def won't be making an appearance. I think we're going to shoot for early afternoon to be there. That will give us plenty of time to hang out and meet everybody. We probably won't stay too late since the :princess: is going to be with us.

Hey everyone, this pig roast would be a great time for me to pop my 4 wheeling cherry. I'm not a member of Ga Cruisers but i would like to, and I'm really interested in meeting you all and having a good time. i can't come friday cuz i have some school work that weekend, so if i were to get to the farm on saturday morning, what time do you all think would be good so i don't miss out on the driving portion of the weekend?
Cant wait to finally meet some cruiser people and maybe meet the owners of some of the trucks I've seen around town.

And I'm trying to get my little brother, Aidan, to come also, but he's not really into the whole off roading thing. I think he'll have a great time though:)

Checking my schedule and trying to make this my first event.

Question: would I be able to bring 4-6 fellow offroaders from another forum I'm on?

Looks like a lot of fun.

My DD is a slightly modded FJ80. New offroad tires. Looking to stretch it out.

I talked to the The Man, Yeah--bring 'em. Sounds like there might be a crowd. FYI -- the Pig roast is $10 a head but doesn't cover wheeling at Durhamtown, that's +/-$30 a truck and $5 for passengers.

Dave also said there's a chance a local with a horse-drawn wagon may swing by Saturday to offer rides for a small donation.

Does everyone want to post up what they plan on bringing as a side dish or a dessert, so we dont have 20 sides of coleslaw and no desserts...

Miranda and I plan to bring:

Homemade Baked Beans (Man Beans)

and

Lemon Squares

It's funny you mention that. My wife and I were just discussing this last night. She was going to make her famous baked beans but we don't want to have 20 sides of beans either. She is making a dessert. It's a blueberry pineapple cake (kind of like and upside down cake) which is quite delicious. We can bring something other than beans if we need to. We could do coleslaw or potato salad or pasta salad.

Edit: Also any idea how many people are going to be there? Do we need to bring industrial sized sides or what?

I'll bring some Rotel dip (thanks Troll) that we had at Windrock. Dave has invited a lot of people outside of our little circle so there's no way to know what other are bringing.

Lets' see...how many. First year we had about 60, last year about 40, hopefully it's not a trend.

Since the Pig Roast is coming up next weekend....Who is planning on going out there Friday late afternoon/evening? I know Miranda and I, John, and Ted are all going, but just seeing if anyone else is going to join the camp fire...

Looks like its going to be myself only on this one.

Can't make the Friday night. Wife and I have Joe Rogan stand up tickets. I will meet up at DT at a little before 10.

Camping overnight is a maybe.

I will get an answer on the side by tomorrow.

See you guys there.

....just ordered a Spartan rear locker. See everyone on Sat.

cool! I'm runnin' a spartan in the front. there's no way you're gonna have thing installed by this weekend is there.

I'm going to give it a go... I think the rear is a lot easier. Or maybe I'll have it at Durahamtown around 0900 with the diff cover off and let you help me.

it's been 4 or 5 months since i installed mine but I remember it was really simple. Wouldn't be the first time we've done a little locker work it the field:

Josh's at GSMTR last year, sheered the pins so we made news ones from a screwdriver.....
