thanks !Fantastic job, sir!!!!
My only suggestion would be to use a large washer for the door strut mount. I have seen guys put a flat piece of aluminum bar there to avoid warping of the strut mount/rear door. Thoughts?
Wow im going there right now looks like you are on next level. Good example to me . I never had GM product so i have to learn from websites and youtube channel hahahahaI am amazed by your attention to detail and a record speed you're moving with this project!!!
I too did a project last summer - a barn find 1997 Celica GT with 200K miles. I've done the timing belt, water pump, oil pump seal, valve cover gasket, spark plugs, PCV valve, front brakes, clutch fluid, brake fluid, coolant, engine oil and filter, all struts and interior and exterior detail. I've started a youtube channel and am going to post the Celica videos soon (takes too long to edit them). Check it out, if you're interested: Maxim’s DIY Garage
Yep, got about 30 videos on Celica, I maxed out my iCloud, lol. Just need time to edit them and put them out. Stay tuned!Wow im going there right now looks like you are on next level. Good example to me . I never had GM product so i have to learn from websites and youtube channel hahahaha
Thanks Maxim ! Celica Gt.. legend. Tank not car. I had scion tc for 6 years . Both are crazy simple idiotproof cars ! Im going to your channel right now thanks ! I did videos twice ( vacation videos ) took me few weeks at evenings to make it right... so i understand You well . Cheers![]()
Yupp thats me which means superhero As in english . Polish version of supermanYep, got about 30 videos on Celica, I maxed out my iCloud, lol. Just need time to edit them and put them out. Stay tuned!
I cannot express how impressed I am with your progress though. It is Youtube worthy, even if you do a photo compilation, like I did on the pre-sale photos on my Celica. Let me know when you get your channel started, I'll be sure to subscribe and follow as you have a great talent and great respect for machines!
Cheers!
As a matter of fact, subscribed already to encourage you to put content on your channel, Superbohater AS!
lol. Bad Polish words like Suka or Kurva Mat'?!Yupp thats me which means superhero As in english . Polish version of supermanYour mightyvac video helped me already seriously i didnt know how that thing works. Yesterday i used long wooden stick between brake pedal and driver seat to bleed rear brakes. Before i start doing fronts i will buy same thing as you did. Videos are nice and its nice to have some audience and help them but at that point im not that good i have to ask my wife she has some build in video maker in her sh*tphone ( iphone 11 max pro) maybe she could help me. Im staying away from facebook insta and all this time killers
my other problem is my english is not that perfect as i wish it to be plus u know how its with car works sometimes you have to do 1 thing 10times before you find right way to do it. Im afraid it could be to many bad polish words hahaha. Thanks Maxim
lol. Bad Polish words like Suka or Kurva Mat'?!
The video was on the Celica with simple brake system without ABS. I would be careful with the mighty vac and the GX470. There is a special procedure for trucks with a brake booster. You may want to research that first before using the Mighty Vac.
What a small wordGreat job Timonek!
I'm your russian brother from another mother, lol! Thanks for clarifying the bad words. Let's stick to the good ones. Positive energy attracts positive energy!
$250 for a set of 2? Thats insanely cheap! I have see them for $800/set of rear struts! That is an awesome price you bought yours for!
Thank You its kind. im trying my best , i love to watch build threads so im trying to be at least not worstGreat job Maxim. Don't worry about the English, several of us are from the US and ours isn't much/any better than yours
