So I have some bronze heritage wheels I had purchased. I had gotten confused on the modification needed to fit the front wheels because some mentioned just hitting their front dust cap in with a hammer and it working, but that’s not my issue. I see now that they are referring to the actual bolted on hub cap.

I see there are talks of modifying it, but I cannot find any actual threads on the actual modification. What are people doing? I will go spacer if I need to but would rather not if I can get around it.

Spacers

1 inch will work if the backside of the wheel is not completely flat. 1.25" if you want to make very sure there's no interference.

These are 1 inch spacers - you can see the studs still poke a bit.

I assume the OEM wheels look like this on the backside so the studs poking work fine.

However if it's a hub-centric spacer, you'll still have the center-bore problem with BORA spacers like mine. I don't know if the spidertrax are the same design or not.

What year is your LC?

06 here with heritage wheels. I used the spidertrax 1.25 spacers front and rear. Been on over a year, no issues. Enjoy

Nevermind... see below.

I need some help deciding what direction to go...
I need another 1/4" of room to fit the new wheels I just got for my 2000 Lexus LX 470 as they don't quite clear the hub bolts and nuts.
I bought these wheels because they were the only ones I liked after a month of searching what limited opinions these vehicles seem to have, and the specs all looked correct other than I was told the dust caps wouldn't fit over the hub. I was OK with that, but the end of the boor tapers down for the dust cap, causing interference with the hub.
I was going to get 1/4" spacers, as these wheels already stick out slightly further than I'd like, but I was told those are illegal to use on the road, and someone else on this forum mentioned they were able to use 1.25" spacers, but that's not the case for my particular year, as I need more like 1.5" spacers.

So I see four options, but I'd like some feedback to make sure I'm not missing some other option(s):
1. Get 1/4" spacers to add to these spacers and get them out a little more so they will clear, and hope nobody notices or cares or that it doesn't cause any issues.
2. Have two of these spacers machined in six spots each so they clear the front hub bolts; however, I'd rather do that to 1" spacers (or skinnier if they'd still be strong enough) as they won't push the wheels out as far.
3. Return the 1.25" spacers and get 1.5" spacers, but this is my least favorite option as I suspect it would be the most hassle and time-consuming.
4. Rtuern the spacers, and get the wheels machined.

Which wheels do you have?

Those wheels are designed for the Tundra and LC200. 100 front hubs stick out. Tough to see the amount of clearance but you'll probably need 1" spacers without the hubcentric ring. 3/4" may not give enough clearance.

The sure bet would have all the bores machined out 110mm all the way through and not use any spacer. And the center caps won't fit.

Yeah, the place I got them from said they just wouldn't work with the dust caps on, but obviously they didn't consider the hub bolts.
I'm also now learning that Utah law prohibits the use of wheel spacers, so I guess I need to return the spacers and find a machine shop.
