It won't be too long before a Class Action perks them up. That will be followed by a recall. Lawyer's will get some money (don't hate) and the rest of you will get new fuel pumps.

Probably not happening. Not any time soon. Toyota's lawyers will stonewall until people just trade them in and get other things.

I wonder if the LX being a premium fuel truck if the fuel pump is different. If so that would be worth looking at for a 200 series.
I doubt it. They probably just use lube before bending you over.

But, they are not the same as the Tundra part numbers:
Tunda Flex Fuel

Tundra Non-Flex fuel

On the Tundra, the problem, although not very well documented and certainly not formally acknowledged by Toyota, appears to be related to the Flex Fuel system. What's interesting is that on the Non-Flex Fuel Tundra's, you can purchase the pump individually (w/out the entire assembly). On the Flex Fuel trucks, your only option is the entire assembly. The LX/LC's have both options which suggests they are Non-Flex Fuel variants of the 5.7. All of that very loosely suggests that the Tundra fuel pump problems and the LX/LC fuel pump problems might not be related???

Is the LC really a problem or is Mardis just snake bit?

Snake bit. They only had 5 in the US which tells me its a low rate failure item.
Installed a set of LT285/75R-18 BFG KO2 yesterday. 2014 model.
none that I know of.

I know not a fan favorite here but 2016 LX is so hot in DFW area as soon as VINs hit system in JPN they are being sold. It is a badass rig. In about 15 years in will be in market.

Petrol prices go down, Land Cruiser sales go up.
The last time Toyota sold over 2000 Land Cruisers in one year was in the 100 series time period.

To be honest I don't think with this buyer that is the case saw 4 nice 100 series getting traded in today. I think finally a 200 series that appeals to that buyer. The trucks needed more tech for current market place.
