New to me 2016 LC200 with 124k miles and perfect condition. I also have a 2006 LX470 with 261k miles, but it's nice to have something a little more modern for daily driving. Just added the Hamilton CarPlay system too, which is a massive convenience upgrade. Taking her hit the dirt this weekend!

First post, a few shots from our recent 9 day, 3,800 km trip in the week of change from NZ's summer to autumn, driving from Auckland in NZ's north to the far south of the country. For those that know NZ's South Island, the highlights including the Molesworth Station, Porters Pass (snow), camped at the head of Lake Coleridge and Mt Cook (both freezing), driving to the head of the Tasman Glacier, traversing the Nevis Road in the far south and driving the track through Black Forest Station alongside Lake Benmore. Amazing trip with 4 mates, my LC200 and 2 classic LR's. My LC200 VX Ltd is reasonably stock but I have added a Apple Play module and an ARB awning/alcove and I also carried a 600l roof box for the trip.

Welcome! One of the best first posts:bounce:

Does anyone know when and where the red LX’s were made? It’s obviously a 2008 to 2012. I checked all of the US brochures and I did not see anything for this color. I do live near the Canadian border so it’s possible it’s a Canada only color. I first saw this one three or four years ago, but this is the first time I got a picture of it.

Not a factory color according to this web site.

Nail in worn out KO2, previous patch found to be failing as well which the "Discount" store will not fix per their insurance/company policy. Not yet ready to replace all 4. Today sucks but I have the 100 Series to pull DD duty while I weigh my options.

I had the "Discount" place tell me the same thing. I then went to the "Les" place and they fixed it with no problem with a patch on the inside. They just trimmed the plug I had put in flush and laid a patch on top of it. No problem after that. My plug failed because it was thirty years old. Got me off the trail though.

Rigs and coffee with @nimitz. Can you believe we didn’t coordinate ahead of time that we were parking in high mode? So of course I had to jump in pre-photo and raise the truck. Rules are rules.
