Love it when the weather won't weather. How are they otherwise? Do you like them?
Otherwise they’ve been great, but they’ve mostly just seen a ton of road miles as my hobbies have shifted this year and the cruiser hasn’t been used in anger in since I installed them.

To stay on theme of the thread, I saw this masochist in Glenorchy a month ago:

I actually hit 20+ once but I was driving from Steamboat to Denver, so net elevation loss, and I was definitely driving to see what I could get, not normal driving behavior :o

Yup, an i70 cruise is what got me there...

I know this is a pictures thread but I was looking back through my photos the other day and remembered this video of my brother in Kuwait in an armored 200 series.

255/85r17 Mickey Thompson Baja Boss AT on zero offset Nomad Arvo. Fox 2.5 suspension with a 1.5” NST spec body lift. If anyone has recommendations for jumping up a tire size I’m all ears! I get full flex and carry the full size spare in stock location with this setup. No body mount chop and no KDSS adjustments.

For those who drive highway 108 in the Sierra Nevada….stock brake fade is a real thing on the eastern descent of Leavitt. I’d be nervous to bump up a tire size without better brakes and a regear if I drove that road fully loaded a lot.
Does the car feel unsteady on those narrow tires? Handle okay?

Below wheels are 25 offset LT285/70/r7 Falken AT3w. The shoulder is just even with the fender. Needed a little front fender liner massage, but not much. I’m on AHC, and would not go any wider. My tire on your 0 offset wheel would stick out about an inch, and rub when turning.

"Just a few miles beyond a concrete sprawl in the Republic of Texas, we find a rare and curious sight. Emerging from the dust are a pair of 200-series Land Cruisers.
Though their numbers are few in this particular habitat, they are driven by an insatiable thirst. They have navigated the arid landscape to find this: a communal watering hole. Here, these majestic heavy-set wanderers must congregate frequently, for their survival depends entirely on the replenishment they so eagerly seek."

Accurate narration, David Attenborough. Indeed a rare sight to behold.

I was definitely reading that in an Attenborough voice

I was feeling Marlin Perkins. But that shows my age. I was hoping Jim would jump in there and wrastle ‘em…
