@mcgaskins @bryson
Sharp eye, gents :)

Good running into you, @kreiten - Goldy looks great in person

We had a great time exploring Tahuya! Even though my buddy couldn't get his 4runner over those obstacles, his wife was successfully convinced of the need for a sliders and a lift so I consider it a success. I was able to give my wife some left seat time, her first on anything trickier than a fire road, and she's hooked. Only took her 10 years to get bored of doing trails from the passenger seat (or maybe it was 10 years for me to offer?). 😆

Went for a “Tuesday “drive. Ice is almost off and water was a bit cool in the float tube, what a great day.

Wow. Super curious about other parts of the trail. Any more photos?

Also... Seems strange that the ground isn’t more wet than it appears. What gives? Too cold to melt still?

The ground is often dry by early afternoon as long as the sun is out and temps aren’t too cool. The sun just does its job to heat up the ground to evaporate the moisture in the dirt even with the surrounding melting snow.

Once substantial rain comes...might get interesting. :)

Thanks for posting. Would love to see more photos of your trail run.
