Casual stroll to the top of Twin Peaks in South Lake Tahoe today with the family. A quick and easily accessible excursion from the city.

"Daddy, OMG, the wheel looks bent." Nawh, it's just flexing a bit.

Wow. Super curious about other parts of the trail. Any more photos?

Also... Seems strange that the ground isn’t more wet than it appears. What gives? Too cold to melt still?

I’ll see if there are any other pics as we didn’t take many. The trail looks like any other summer with the exception of a few sections in the upper pass. I also couldn’t believe how dry the trail is.

We were only in the area for today.

Some kind of crazy body lift... You can see the parking bump on the other side of the truck through the rear wheel well...!

Yea! the sliders looked that were installed horizontally to the frame as well.

Couple of quick pics from today's Schubarth Loop trail run. Just a moderate trail to get a few things dialed in, and also - those Nitto's Ridge Grapplers are very impressive. A lot less slippage compared to my previous KO2s on similar trails I'd been on around Denver/Co. Springs.

In the trail description, a few 'narrow' spots is an understatement. I snapped a pic to show how close the boulder was to my face - literally since my window was down ;) - and this was *spacious* compared to other spots (I was too white knuckled to take a pic of those spots). Thank goodness for sliders - new scrapes on both the bottoms and sides...

Also in the trail description: the one "tippy spot that will capture your attention" sure did, and then some. The photo doesn't do it justice - felt like I was going to roll passenger side and a$$ over nose at exactly the same time.

And another Eezi-Awn Manta 270 shot out in the field - very pleased with my rest stops, lunch breaks, and cold beverage hydration station upgrade.

Lastly, a panorama of the view point of Co Springs and the Air Force Academy. (Edit - file size too large so updated with a link instead)

I've proudly shown pics to coworkers of the truck fully flexed and their usual reaction is "OMG you broke it!" :meh: Know thy audience I suppose!

Ha! I’ve heard that same response to photos... :)
“Oh no! What happened!?”
-It does look pretty odd to the average non-wheeler

It’s dark gray metallic. 3M 1080 vinyl and color code M261. Door jam pictures are below. A picture is worth a thousand words. I’m in Albuquerque, so UV deterioration will be a concern. There hasn’t been many issues that I’m aware of from a couple of the local guys that do run vinyl here though.

What size tire, spacers?

285/65/18 and 1.25" Spidertrax spacers. I think they look good even tho the tires could stand to be a little bigger.. But I didn't lose any gas mileage and it still has plenty of get up and go so I'm happy with this size.

I don't see many newer LC's around. So I was shocked that the exact year, 2016, and color, black, as mine parked next to me at a gas station. But was I in for a surprise as to what was inside there LC.
The dog was soaking wet, the amount of slobber down the passenger door was obscene and the amount of dog hair flying around looked like a carpet. This dog was HUGE! It was hilarious.

Another weekend out wandering. I crossed the 20k mile mark since picking her up back in February and aside from needing to find a way to mount my ARB Lights I have zero complaints about the truck. Even better than my first 200.

I took a lot of pics this weekend. I got a new camera and trying to get use to shooting with it. A 200 is a good subject matter to practice with. One of the vistas was a nice haul to get to. The other you can get to in passenger car. Both were fantastic.
