Southern Colorado heading North last Wednesday...just as a snow was about to dump...

We got a chance to get out to an area we like to camp and go exploring... that is before we came upon too much snow and downed trees. Fun day.

I wheeled there once in my Tundra for a week. We covered lot of trails. I don't even remember the trail names. But, it was fun.

Ya... With all the recent rain, though? -Be sure you don't do what I did on Valentine's day in Borrego:

Nasty quicksand like chocolate pudding...wickedly hidden under a half-inch of dry-looking top dirt!

Finally got my wheels and tires mounted...

Your wheels and tires look so good in this pic!

Honestly, the dusty dirt and angle makes the wheels seem bigger than they normall do...but then dirty always looks good on a Cruiser! :)

What size tires would you recommend that I go with, I'm picking up the RW rims.

Thanks guys!

That looks great. What size tires are you running? Are those painted Tundra wheels and custom center cap?

The tires are 285-65/18s mounted on an old set of 2010 Tundra rims that I had cleaned and powder coated. The hub caps are one of kind... well, that is only because I painted them to match the rims and replaced the Toyota emblem with Lexus. Otherwise, they are the stock Tundra hub caps that came with the $100 rims. Yeah, I'm pretty cheap, but I think that they turned our fairly well. I just wished that my wife felt the same. For her, the OEM wheels are pretty much the only thing she wants to see on her vehicles.

PS Thanks for the props! I really appreciate it. I have been fretting over this for quite some time.
