Sorry for the delay, I got them at the hydraulics store where I got the lines, nuts, couplers. They are usually welded on at the bottom and fastened to the machine itself. The metal base on that one is missing since I just bolted it to the fender support. They worked great! I used them on the top of the frame rail to bring the lines forward.

Have been slowly working to make sure everything is ready and under the dash before installing the Vintage Aire Unit.
I didn't like how the hoses fit that were sent from Vintage Aire since they didn't stay on the defrost vents. After some searching I found I could use fernco couplers and they stay on the defrosters and I got a 90 degree Fernco QL-200 and cut it in half for the other end to connect to the Vintage Aire unit.

Shifter boot adapter...why? It is really hard to find a shifter boot to replace the one that I had....Not as easy to find as they were 20 years ago.
The adapter allows the use of the stock 4 speed shifter boot. Sent out for powder coat.

Cluster installed - Hope that doesn't have to come back out! With everything under the dash and roll bar moved, it is hard to get my hand in to unhook the speedo cable! Glove box and shift plate back.

Gas tank and cover in as well as connected to the valve that will feed into the pump to refill the rear aux tank.

That's the past few months update - got busy with the garden and taking care of all the other outside things around the yard. (and of course work)

Happy Father's Day - What else would you want to do with your father than get all those things done on the Cruiser that you need an extra hand for?!
Dad and I spent over 7 hours working through lots of details - and then my daughter comes out and asked if we ate anything and realized it was after 7pm!
We had dinner then.

Accomplished today: All the bolts holding the gas tank cover down, passenger side and center seat brackets, center console mounted at the back with the seat brackets on the floor.

Once the center console and seat brackets were mounted, we could mount the bracket for the transfer fuel pump to fill the back tank from the front tank.
Then we mounted the transfer fuel pump, the stainless gas lines and fuel filter to feed the TPI to the bracket.

The rear fuel tank was installed (pictures later) and fill hose installed (took a while to find one that would fit my setup and distance needed.)
Filled all the gear oil in rears, transfer case and transmission.
Tightened the new steering collapsible shaft and universals.
Routed the wiring harness across the firewall and located all plugs to connect.
Mounted relays and module to bracket on firewall.
Uninstalled TPI center to get all vacuum lines run and sanded corner of that center to clear the adjustable fuel pressure regulator.
Reinstalled TPI center and tightened all runners.
Installed Fuel lines with new o-rings, and heater hoses where you will never get to the clamp again. Tight fit!
Connected all Injector harness plugs. Installed Accelerator cable.
Tighten Spark Plugs.

Installed and tightened gas lines on engine to gas lines on body/frame.
I am sure there is something we did that I forgot.
Sorted out parts still needed to pick up tomorrow!

Wires terminated and tied up, center console harness installed and last relay added.

New Alternator installed, last one seen too many water holes and was very rough when spinning it by hand.

Did you use a kit for the rear tank?
No, copied the confer tank that I had in and modified to fit fuel pump. My old tank had a leak in several places, so was easier to remake than fix the holes since it was rusty.

Welding a used gas tank is a poor plan. Glad you made a new one.

Lol it can be done, but with the amount of work to patch weld in and then I had to adapt and cut a recess in the tank for my trailer plug that I added into the bumper, it just .are sense.
