Wiring Harness- @Coolerman @ToyotaMatt
Finalized today after test fit, and fingers crossed I haven't missed anything and it all works now that I have most of it wrapped.
Need to make terminations in engine bay to fit.
Battery relocated back to passenger side.
@V8FJ4078 I have just finished reading about your restoration and have only 1 word if I can close my dropped jaw…. Fantastic ! This is serious work and your wire harness is like a vascular surgeon did this… supplying life to every part of the truck
by the way, I am a visual learner as well. Show me a picture and I’ll get it.
thanks for linking me to this excellent series of work you are doing

@knuckle47 Thank you, having the garage space at my house, where I don't have to go down the street to Dad's to work on it makes it nice. I still go down to make parts and get Dad to make parts for me and I painted it there. While the harness was challenging, I just followed one wire at a time and documented it so I could come back to it and replicate this again a bit easier. I did keep the old harness under the new one as I built it to make sure lengths were correct. Worked on it a few weeks, few nights at a time. Took a bit longer when I found wire colors I didn't order and waited for them to come. I also planned and looked at what I needed and what wasn't needed due to the V-8. Since I purchased the headlight update from Toyota, I didn't need head light wires to go out both sides so I ran the plug out the passenger side since I am moving the battery back there since the AC compressor takes the space I had it previously.
I looked at lots of pictures, somethings I copy and somethings like my rear bumper I designed that myself to add in the body lift so I don't need the filler strip I had there before.
This is my stress release of day job, this is fun and enjoyable. Glad you enjoyed!
@V8FJ4078 fully understand the convenience of having the garage right there. I have wanted and needed garage space for way too long and finally got it done. Started in June and just started moving into it a month ago. Starting to assemble the lift which has been waiting since August. Problem is I am a one man band and this stuff is heavy

Started my garage in 2014. Finished exterior by 2016 and the inside by 2018 and installed lift in 2020 after taking apart and powder coating it and rebuilding and replacing all the worn parts. Then fixed and went over our daily drivers before starting "restoring" the Blue Cruiser, now Yellow. Hauled everything in to build the garage with the Cruiser, except for the blocks. I did haul all the block too! But with my brother's old Chevy dump truck. And the beam, my brother and I picked up with his Pete and trailer.
Used my Cruiser to haul the materials for my previous garage I build at my last house too. Including the trusses, I think they were 30 or 32 feet long they extended front off the trailer to the spare tire and hung off the back of the trailer. That was a long slow drive and never again! Lifted the back tires off the ground as I pulled into the driveway and pulled it into 4wd quick to pull down the driveway. Fun Stories!
Roll Bar Set in today, can work on other things now that I freed up some space in the garage.
Figured out how I am going to supply fuel from rear tank and put fuel pump in tank when making it.
Inside tank can be set up to feed the rear tank and eliminate more hoses to have pumps in both.
Lots of figuring. Will have a switch to switch between levels of both tanks.
