Hey all, I finally got my 79' 40 home. Started to get it all apart. The 2f runs, trans needs work as well as the tcase. having a hard time deciding on what I really want. I'll be building it to be driven quite a bit on and off road. Any help or advice would be appreciated. I had the idea of a 5.3 swap but i'd definitely like to atleast keep everything in the yota family.

If you want one with a v8, I would buy one with a v8 already in it. Their are planty of them out their and they are much cheaper than 2f powered 40s. Better than cutting one up thats original.
I vote 1UZ plenty of them and they are cheap
