the 1UZ-FE engine trans I have is from a 1992 LS-400. It has a front sump oil pan. The engine was pulled with 112,000 miles on the clock.
What is included is engine, trans, engine harness, ECU, and TCU.

It was going to go into a project but I ended up selling it and don't have any other plans for this engine. I can also use the space that its taking up.
Engine is in Southern California

price is $550.

I will crate and get it ready for shipping. the buyer pays for shipping or pickup.

If you have any questions about the items for sale please feel free to ask.

Help me out here....Will this go into an 1969 fj40?

I believe this has been done a few times, so you wouldn't be cutting a new trail. Would be a hell of an upgrade. I think Slee has done the swap a few times if you want to pay someone to do it. Search the hardcore forum.

Great price for a V8. GLWS to the OP.

Good evening all,

Wyoluke, to answer your question; Yes this engine would go into your fj40, and anything else with 4 wheels, steering wheel, and seat but don't expect this to be a bolt-in plug and play application. It will require some effort, some good tools, some more really good tools, some creativity and some really good fab skills depending on what your expectations are of the finished product.
However as Yellow Jacket mentioned, and I really do think he put it best as many have done this swap into 40's and just about every other variation of a landcruiser and just about every toyota and many non-toyota make vehicles. It is a very versatile engine being pre OBDII, there is a lot of information and support out there for this engine.

I would keep it if I could, but I really can't. I have more than a couple of projects and I already got rid of most of this project. I was going to shoehorn it into an 85 solid axle toyota pickup and link it front and back but its gone now. My garage and yard rivals that of an auto dismantler/salvage yard so the wife has forced me to clean it up. Even though I do fight with myself about keeping it and re-purposing it into another project the $550 price tag that I'm asking for it does not come close to the cost of a divorce. Since I am the Male counterpart of the relationship I would get the Socket end of the torque wrench on that deal if you can understand that, so it has to go.

Thank you for you interest and if you have any other questions then please feel free to ask.

Adrian.
