Okay, so who is Jim C? Its not Jim Chenowith is it? That is definitely one of the pics I took. Way back when I first found it, I took a bunch of pics with my crappy dig. camera. At some point, I spoke with some guy that I met on the Coolcruisers board that knew a lot about 45's. I sent him a bunch of pics, and he was helping my figure out everything that I had & that was stock. That pic is after Bill & Carol gave me the title, but like 5 months before I moved the truck from that sight (because of the snow, and scary towing conditions). I finally got the truck out of there, and two days later, we had the biggest snow storm in the front range in 70 years. I and several friends that helped me were stuck in my house for a week. (Treeroot knows the storm, he is from around here).

One more neat thing. When I got the truck to my house, and started poking around, I found a mumified mouse in the air filter housing. You know how they are oil breather's. Well this one died in the oil, and it basically turned him into a perfect, yet waxy copy of himself.
In face, I am pretty sure I removed him, but there is a small chance that he is still in there. You might want to look and find out - just in case

Thanks Abe for the heads up. I will look in the morning. When I had the air filter off the other day I didn't see your mouse, but I also was looking too hard.

No real cool pics to show.

I do have her running and we drive it on a daily basis now. A couple people around here have honked or said the like the wagon. But I am mostly happy to be driving.

Also, I got the wipers to work. Not sure why I spent 1.5 days to get them to work since those things move so stinking slow. For the most part everything is complete. I still want to put a winch on her and bolt a couple more things down.

I did pick up some hub caps and plan installing them faily soon. For the price I paid on the caps, I am real happy. I have some 15'' rims that I need to clean up and install new meats.

Oh, Thanks Treeroot for the pic. I am loving the snow covered look.

Last, if anyone has an air cleaner that will work for my '65 I would like to purchase it. I got one from a guy, but didn't fit.

David,
I am like 99.99% certain I took the mouse out a long time ago. I sort of remember being really disgusted about when I did it. But, I can't remember for certain. So you might as well check. Just in case.
Somewhere, I have a ton of pics like that last one from when I first found the truck, plus from when we hauled it out,etc...Bill had to use his 4 wheel drive tactor to help us pull it out without running it over the cliff (brake and clutch lines/resevoirs were completely dry from sitting). I know for a fact that the roll of film in the good, non digital camera has pics from the truck. I had originnally bought a the type of film Toyoyta trails wants, to take pics with because I was going to do a write up. But, then I started to forget to take pics when I worked ont it, so I didn't figure they would care about a sloppy story. I still haven't finished that roll, & taken it to be developed. I always use the good digital for the last few years. Anyway, I will find those other pics at some point, & send them to you or post them.
best,
Abe

Dave,

I was up at Coyote Cruisers the other day and he has the air cleaner you need. You might call John and see if he is willing to sell and ship parts like that or let me know and I'll see if I can find someone in that area for you.

13 years 5 days later. I believe @Rix 45 is in possession of her now? Any current pictures of her?

When it was for sale.
