Updates
here are just a couple more pics i dug up from the conversion. Below are some shots of the rad shroud i fabricated from sheetmetal (DO NOT TRY TO MODIFY YOUR OLD SHROUD, YOU ARE WASTING YOUR TIME
;p ), and the port on the rad that had to be cut and turned for more fan clearance. Yeah the rad is ugly (well lookes better after it was painted...) but hell, IT DON'T LEAK! 
EDIT: Also, just to update you on some of the porblems i last posted with, the hard start problem was a bad battery. We load tested each and replaced the weak battery....problem solved, only need to hold the key for a fraction of a second now...
The tail light issue was just crossed wires at the bulbs as suspected.....wierd...
