im in california so idk if it would be cheaper:/

If you are planning on sending it to Vancouver it's not much further to Vernon
Also our weak dollar helps

Are the injector rebuild prices dropping in North America? I was looking at local prices and some of them are doing the 1HZ injectors for $380 using Denso parts. They were $600 9 years ago.
I saw some 1HD T injectors also going cheap but I forget the amount. 1HD FTE are still $1400.

Western turbo have rebuilt 1hdt injectors for me before

1HZ injectors full rebuild to stock spec is about $100 each in Canada right now. Had mine fully done a month or two ago although I had mine set for a turbo.

Is still running fine in a custimer's hdj, truck came in misfiring, customer put too much oil in the engine, ive to rebuild the engine, two injectors have missing tips,2 or more pistons were missing metal on top.
Western turbo rebuilt the injectors.
Ended up putting new sleeves on the block, all new pistons n bearings n gaskets from engine Australia.

I've heard of some shops converting the injectors to single stage, as they didn't have the equipment to deal with the 2 stage setup properly, that's why I'm trying to confirm they are capable of setting the 1HD-T injectors properly.

Talk to Glenn at western turbo

gonna do my injectors on stage two of my biuild.....right now getting ready for the mojave road in febuary with my pops....so drawers, fridge, roof top tent, lights, water tanks. 35's 2.5 in lift....replace some aging belts ...stereo....led inside lights.....cb....thats all for now....got to love these hdj81;s....i can still leave my bumpers on my chop top for now :)

Are there really no performance injectors available for 1HDT?
Yes there is, Gturbo, Diesel Central and XXi to name a few do them, but there's no need for them until around the 27psi intercooled mark and I mean, I make 154 rwkw at 25psi which is more than 100% over stock which is a massive difference and for most people, probably enough power

Stock is 122kw for 1HDT. What am I missing?
122 kW on an engine dyno with no water pump, alternator, vacuum pump etc etc. So, by the time it gets to the rear wheels, in the truck, it's driving accessories, and then the power lost in the drive train , it's generally accepted that around 30% power is lost through the drivetrain, more with larger tyres. The figures I have show about 37% loss in an 80, although that's all relative as all dynos vary from each other.

A stock healthy HDJ80 makes 76ish rwkw, exhaust and tune gives about 85, I got 114 intercooled and exhaust at 12psi post intercooler. Now with a 600x400x76 intercooler, GTurbo BadBoy, XXi pump, Moonlight airbox running a 6.6 duramax filter and 4" all the way into the turbo, I'm making 154
rwkw at 25 psi, 21:1 AFRs on boost. All my figures are on 285 / 75r16 A/Ts at 38 psi

did you recall ambient temp and relative humidity the day you test it ..?

21:1 it's damn good for those numbers ..

I don't recall, it would have been in winter, so wouldn’t have been real hot. I'll see if i can find the dyno sheets

That's nice numbers!
Do you know if the oversized injectors hurt in any way? Like is it harder to tune of use more fuel of something?
I ask as some people might need injectors overhauled and oversized is an option.
