One week and I’ll be in Boise for this thing. Time flies.

I bought this truck a little over 3 years ago. Right before 80’s went crazy on prices. I remember the guy posted it for sale on Mud and was asking $9500 - I’m pretty sure it was that price or maybe a little more. Crazy cheap compared to now. It had 173k miles on it and had factory lockers. The seller had just a handful of Mud posts but he loved Land Cruisers. He had another 40 series and he had bought this truck as a dealer demo. He got it with factory deleted roof rack and running boards. He did all the maintenance himself per the manual. The only modification he ever did was install some 285/65/16 all terrain tires on it. It was on its second set of BFG’a when I saw it. The truck has a little dent on the hood where his 40 rolled into it one day when he knocked it out of gear.

I think his wife thought I was trying to scam them. This was a lot for an 80 three years ago and I didn’t really negotiate because it was a clean truck. We got past that and look at where the truck is now. I need to try that find that for sale ad.

Wrong pattern.
Ha. We were pretty intentional with the rear seat. It’s likely the Scheelmann seats that are currently in the truck are not permanent - they were/are destined for a different truck. I wanted to upholster this back seat in a manner that would allow me to mix and match the front seats in the future.

If/when you need those hauled off I’m just a little ways across the panhandle. I’ll even waive the disposal fee😉
