Not sure yet. @SNLC and I were discussing that issue yesterday. The truck seems to be doing very well - as of yesterday it was still above 3/4 after 150 miles. I was hoping for all around 18 mpg but would also like to pleasantly surprised. The cruising RPMs are pretty low.
I have an FT/H151 with TT transfer gear. Driving on the flats with nothing on the roof at 60 mph I got over 25mpg. Fully loaded no faster then 65mph I get about 23. Seems like you are running lower RPM.

H152 has a deeper 5th. We got stock 4.10 gears and 315’s.

This FTE/H152 no probs Cruising at 70-80mph, I am sure mpgs better a little slower though.

I really like driving it in the mountains and on two-lane back roads. I think that is where this truck really shines. 😆

Cheers

same here. I'm climbing the back side of the Sierras from Truckee at 70mph cruise control 5th gear and it just wants to go - EGT at 800F. It can go over 90 but I hate driving it fast when it is fully loaded. We put 50k miles in the last 2+ years with 0 issues. Oil changes every 2500 miles - Yah I know, but that's just me.. First trip to Phoenix from SF Bay, and second trip to Denali from SF bay. You will never sell it. :)

How are you guys correcting the speedo for the tire size?

Currently not.

I am sure John will have a “list” after driving it, that’s why he is coming out.

Myself, in my Cruiser, I just use GPS on my phone and don’t worry about it.

There is a shop in Sacramento that makes a small gearbox adopter for the speedo. You tell him the ratio and for about $100 he will send you one. No web site, no email, just a phone. I can find find it if you need it.

I find this much better:
GPS HUD speedometer
A detailed review of that HUD is here:

The only thing is that it doesn't work in tunnels so if you are in Switzerland then you are screwed up. Otherwise, it's really good, I can't complain about the accuracy also the visibility is much better and it's safer to check the speed on the windshield.

Shocks are 11”, at ride height rear has 5” up travel and front has 6.5”.

Oh ya Cruiser has 1.3* of rake.

Cheers

This is kind of a tbd kind of thing. If it’s within 5 percent or so, I am likely to just leave it alone.

It is 1mph off at 25mph. It’s probably 8-10mph off at 80+mph. So 72mph on the speedo is about 80 gps.

Cheers

Details, to us in the shop these kind of details really finish off the build.

At the start of that you can kind of see the Hella horns we put in. The Cruiser showed up last year with no horns, when I asked John what he wanted, he said I don’t use a horn! So rather than go OEM or top shelf Hella we bought the small cheaper Hella’s. Well, when we tested them, holy cr*p! LOUD, made me jump and I was expecting them! 😂

The OBA system is operational. 😎

I've run the Yellow Box speedo correction for several years now. Works great and has fine adjustment to get it just right.
