Yep, I did all that and more, seems like it just happened yesterday. Plenty more tales from the road still to be told and fear not, the rest of the story will be told.

Sorry I’ll barely miss you again. Putting on my lumberjack duds and heading to Mississippi on Thursday, speeding thru south Louisiana on the way. Hoping to avoid a heat stroke and get some brush clearing done, be back in Texas by Sunday. Hard to accomplish much in 2 days, but I try. Last trip—

The 80 hit the streets today!! 🤩🤩

We filled up the tank with diesel and did just over five miles in it. Videos inbound shortly. 😉

So it was a windy day here today, you hear it in these videos. Our focus was not on making videos but testing the Cruiser.

I don’t have the patience right now to splice all these clips into a single video, so you are just getting clips! 😝

When the build is done, I will bust out the more professional equipment and make some more quality videos going over the whole build and test drives. In the meantime you all get clips! ☺🤗

So we drove it up the alley four blocks to the Chevon that has diesel. Once we filled it up we hit the streets.



That’s the first rev over 2,000 with a load on it. My god man, this Cruiser is going to be unreal! 😳

We then went up to the fairgrounds which has a nice big parking lot and gave it some good runs! 🥰

So we did just over five miles in it for it’s first run. Got it back to the shop and immediately checked it over. Zero leaks, zero probs. What a good end to our Monday. This is what it is all about building Cruisers. We have put a ton of work into this build which I think the thread shows and ya know, it really is rewarding to get to this stage in a build. Sooooooooo good! 😍

By the way, the EGT’s go up in the second video because I rev’ed it up. Can you hear the FTE running? 😉😆

EGT’s are in our yanky temps not that metric junk! 😝

I usually shoot for 300-350* at idle if manual tuning a 1HDT/FT so I am real happy with this so far.
