This has really evolved into a top tier 80. John probably has one of if not the nicest turbo diesel 80 in the usa and it will give any in Australia or anywhere else a good run for the money too. The new FTE long block and new H152 really sets it apart from any other 80 build I have seen anywhere in my 20+yrs into Cruisers.

It has truly evolved into a special and one of a kind 80-series.

Appreciate it. Really glad I thought about eliminating the little tray from the original. Should be able to keep nice and clean. Though I am gathering ideas for a version 2.0.

The Scheelmann seats fit so great in the 80 series. I don’t think these are going to be permanent. I originally bought them for my tan 79 series but decided to use them in this truck when I could not make up my mind. I’m thinking about custom set that have a brown alcantara insert.

Great to see this 80 build approaching the finish line!

It is hard to beat the combination of an 80 series with comfortable seats and a well set up suspension added to the responsive drivetrain of your choice for a perfect truck!

Thank you. The standard Scheelmann brown is basically a direct match for the 80 series dark oak. Works great for the dark brown in 70 series as well.
