- 3rd row leather in superb condition.
- I have new driver side door window runs, have not installed.
- I have a new windshield seal but have not installed.
- Wood veneer removed. A few scratches on the shifter console
- Kenwood head unit. Getting a little old, but works fine.

In short this is an opportunity to own a fully built, practically brand new LOW MILAGE LC with factory lockers. The only thing I could possibly think to do to this vehicle at this point is to replace the leather. I have spared no expense in rebuilding this truck as I take pride in my projects and originally started the build with the intent of making this a forever truck, but as always, things change!

I am asking $23,000 for the truck. Tell me if I am absolutely crazy. Otherwise, lets try and make a deal!

Truck is at Robbies shop in Boulder getting gears done for about another week. Then it will be in Boulder Colorado.

Note, there are a few pinstripes on the paint as it is black, and the paint on the hood is well, 16yrs old. I have not abused this truck. It has ran Holy Cross twice and otherwise used for family camping trips on dirt roads.

Originially an AZ truck (have the sticker from the dealer), I purchsed from KC, has since been in Colorado. No rust to speak of.

I wish somebody would buy this so I can stop scheming of ways to make it mine.

still for sale

I am pretty sure this is now one of the best deals around on a built 80 with a brand new motor?

still for sale!

For those than think I am crazy and for those that want a good deal on an 80 with a new motor, and for those that didn't notice, I dropped my ask price to $18,500

bring in the offers

You're crazy for selling for a penny less than original asking price.

I wish I didn't have current projects (with an S) siphoning expendable cash out of my pocket at a rate faster than it's being replenished, or I'd prove it and buy.

Great deal, considering one of the foremost 80 authorities on the face of Earth rebuilt, which I bet I could get close on estimating expense, so your nuts for a price less than $20k.

If anyone "new" is canvassing classifieds looking for an 80, this is the one to have, simply due to the depths Robbie went with the 1FZ. Won't find much on mud about, but the guy knows 80s and 1FZs like few on the planet.

Good luck!

only concern i have is how do you get a insurance company to cover something like this - wouldnt they just use BB value -- so if something did happen to it - your out crazy money

My carrier, Cincinnati Life, uses replacement cost. Must have documentation. In fact, this example shows a case where the owner could be better off driving off a cliff than selling. Show all the receipts and get more than it can be sold for.

fraud

I would go to jail if I tried to drive it off a cliff to get the money. Not to mention, I would never destroy something I put so much time effort and MONEY into.

But you are right, if you prove the value your ins company will pay it.

I don't crash cars though, so I don't worry about such things.

Common guys, buy this thing already! Sorry, just waiting for your 80 to sell so I can list my 80. Do not want to compete. ;)
