As I sit in my office...I don't think I am doing this whole "life" thing right.
Incredible.
Trunion bearing. I am pretty sure that is a made up word that is meant to sound more important than what it is. It's just a bearing that links up with your birfields(also a made up term) so your front axle can work properly. So this have been the pics of the last part of the trip, I hope to do some more caribbean soon, Also, on the mods of the Toyota I did dual battery with the Bluesea isolater, it has been working good. Also the @Photoman 150Amp Alternator bracket that was a great add.
i replaced all the front wheel bearing and the Turnion, turrion or whatever is called. But im still have a noise on the front, im not sure now if its the actual differential, if anyones has any idea about a noise that sounds like a set of Maracas, a banging, like a a bunch of metal balls playing inside the front axel housing, let me know, it has nothing to do with speed, braking, gears, 4wd, it sound whenever i hit holes, bumps or offloading, its driving me insane!
hope you enjoy the pics and follow me on instagram

Thanks for the info! The funny thing is I just did that job. And replaced the brief completely with new ones. I didn't do the turnion. So I'm doing it now. Also, very adept explanation of the sound of a dry birfield clanking around in there. That needs grease but you probably have a blown inner axle seal. It's a big job, but you can do it with hand tools. I could send you the parts but you'll have to pay shipping from the states. Someone down there has all that stuff.

Sound more important? Just the opposite, they are very important. Those 4 bearings support the entire frontend weight of the vehicle and a give the ability to steer.
