I might (big might) be able to get it with one of these but I don’t have the right size.

I got the rear out and the new one in but of course the front is bad news. I am hoping it is good and I will run it until I do exhaust. If not, well I will have to deal with it.

Cheers

I got some other stuff done too, such as...

A/C suction line re-wrapped and hooked up, I tossed some new wrap on the trans kickdown cable as well.

Lots got done today the last half of the day. I am literally down to about 4hrs worth of work and I am firing this Cruiser up! 🤩

Cheers

Taking me longer than I expected because I am being super anal down to the last clamp and wire. Everything is exactly where Toyota put it plus I am cleaning any remaining hardware or parts as I go. Also securing the wiring harness at least as good as Toyota did if not a little better.

It's either correct or it's not. :)

Well you would probably know better that anyone.

I am using this as an example.

It is in very original condition.

You are doing an extremely thorough, detail-oriented, job.

There is one, um, thing. As soon as you open the hood you will fail the visual inspection, due to the valve cover. :p

What alternator did you end up running?

Mean Green.

Got others things going on so progress slowed a little.

Old vs new

Ouch! That sucks! Especially at this point. Fix or replace? Ouch again. Read through your 13 pages. Great read. I'm working on similar projects..
