I am sure it can be done and I think Besttop did it before from the pics I saw on here before. This is just my opinion, but I don't think any aftermarket kit out there is going to even come close to the quality and fit of the OEM 73/74 soft top set up. Not even close.

The 73/74 come with removable hard top and factory soft top. The 70 is also a available with a factory soft top.

I removed the 4 or 6 bolts from across the top and the 4 bolts along the bottom, remove hinges from the bottom and slide out the windshield surround.

4 bolts along the bottom? Can you elaborate or show pics?

I finished rebuilding my engine. Then all of a sudden overheat. We can check the water pump, radiator cap, thermostat, radiator. Also did 3 chemical test and all came back negative. It leads me to believe that my to 2 things. A bad head gasket or cracked head.
HELP
I have spent tons of money on this truck. NOT ready to give up just yet. But.... It's getting there.
Can any suggest anything.
