I'll be driving this truck to the Nov 8th Coastal Cruisers meeting, if anyone in the area wants to come check it out.

Drive carefully and don't scratch it. :)
The planets may all align and the import laws may change.

Price Drop to $ 17, 500

After working for several weeks to get this truck into the US, I now know a lot about US import laws. There are ways but if you get caught, you loose your investment.

As I've gone down this path, I haven't really been focused on the local market. Since the truck's likely to stay in Canada for the next two years I'm matching what I've seen other similar 70 series go for locally in the last while.

Lowered to $17,500.

While I fully understand your motive, I am sorry to see you do this because there are no "similar" Cruisers in Canada. :)
Mid-week bump......

Well, The right buyer will know this.

Cheers,

John

I know Walter is still working hard to get everything sorted out to get this Cruiser. So if its still available when he has everything sorted out he will be getting it.

There are at least 2 Americans that will be put out of their misery when it does sell.

I've debated moving back to the motherland for that reason!

Do you have dual citizenship? If so, or if you know someone who does, there may be a loophole to got it in the states.

Wouldn't work in the long run. If you were dual, you could technically register it in Canada and drive it down, but that would mean you would have to maintain a "residence", insurance any registration in the province it came from. Couple that with the fact that you would still not fix the problem registering it in the US prior to the 25 year cut off without breaking some federal law:meh:

I am dual and what phrogg4evr said has been my dilemma and no way to get around that I've found. Even though I hold both, my residence is In the States and has been most my life. I could get family to put in under their name in Canada but insurance would be a pain if something did happen and I can't take a chance. Sadly.

Bumping it up

Its a new month. Time for a bump!

It makes me sad this beautiful truck sitting around my shop not being enjoyed like it should (except the weekly drive I take it on to keep everything in good order, which I thoroughly enjoy!)

For those of us who have a high tolerance for pain, you could at least post an occasional "action" shot while you are out cruising around.

This is like being a kid who is looking through the front glass of a candy store and then realizing the store won't open for a couple of years. :bang:
