Great build!

Interesting choice of powder for the wheels. I'm sure it will look great but I would have gone with the pewter grey.

At any rate, keep up the great work!

Several options crossed my mind and I couldn't decide which one would look better. White, Tan, and Silver (Pewter grey) were the three runner ups...I guess that Tan 4E9 won...but I could probably be happy with either of them...and to be totally honest, I still wonder if I made the right choice....hahaha!! :hhmm:

Thanks, Wayne!!!!

Overall, I am really happy with the results. Like I've mentioned before, this project is far from being done...but every step gets me closer to the end point (if there is such thing...haha)

Thanks for all your guidance and advice, Wayne, I truly appreaciate it.

Sadly, the machine shop didn't get the head done on time, and we had to start the trip without the BJ70 :frown:

My friend Mike had so much work to do that he couldn't make the trip, either, but he wanted for us to use his Defender 90 on the Moab trip. We started driving on Friday July 6th from Cincinnati, OH to Moab, UT. Approximately 1500 miles (one way) with Andy's (A ROGUE) FJ60's and Mike's D90. Omar (omarluis) drove most of the way with Andy, and Fernando (ferportu) drove most of the way with me on the D90.

Below are some photos of the trip. We had a lot of fun...overall we drove about 3300 miles (round trip) and did some cool scenic trails. I will do my best to try to describe all the photos.

The route was pretty much driving on I-74W to Indianapolis and then take I-70W to Moab. We drove through Indianapolis, St. Louis, Kansas City, Denver, and finally Moab.
