I could be wrong but I think this was for sale on Craigslist in Colorado last year for about 85k$.

I could see the builder asking that much. But getting that much is another story. It seems adequately priced for the description currently. If the owner or buyer is out there can you please give me first right of refusal?!? :)

Everything under the body is rusty.

"- The frame was sandblasted, chemically dipped and epoxy primed"

Look closely at the nooks and crannies. I call BS.

Not trying to be sarcastic but what annoyances and questions do you have?

What they said. Looks rattle can Krylon Gloss. For frame off I thought I would see a new OEM finish looking frame. Some minor interior things are not as nice as they could be. E.g. Lazy staples on the seats. But these are minor. I would be really interested to see what the motor is really like and I it's as good as they say. Also would like to know how much bondo is or is not in the body. Overall, the body looks pretty dang sharp though.

45 min left. I wonder if it will take if in that last few minutes. I have a wife approved price point that I'm watching.....

reserve not met @ $28,382.28. I wonder what it was?

Agree with Shane. Frame, axles, diffs looks rattle canned or brushed - not the sort of finish one would expect. Transfer case just painted over, including parts that were factory Cadmium plated.

Not convinced that the 'restoration' was all that thorough. Body seam behind front door is filled over. Lots of little details are incorrect. Why leave the dented bumper on there, for that kind of coin? At least the 5-speed has the factory 40 series top loader, however the shift knob is not 40 series. Lotsa details wrong, price a bit high in my view.

Interesting. Send me a PM with your info. We can compare notes. I had a high bid in mind that was unacceptable and I emailed the seller. The seller didn't seem incredibly interested in talking. .

Hey guys i just found your site and went through it. I didnt know how many enthusiasts there were out there with the fj series. I rebuild these cruisers and the 75 series here in Zimbabwe.I really enjoy what you guys have done to uphold, and resoect the fj series cruisers. This is a vehicle that cannot be broken in a hurry.
