Part number for the lamp is 90981-11009. Amayama shows it NLA. Was only used on the 40 series FJ4X from 10/82+.
Seems to me someone had a replacement tiny led for knob bulbs, that I read about around here somewhere.

I know Matt has them for the headlight switch. That part number is the same, 90981-11009. Matt is probably the best option. One man show and need to be patient. I have dealt with Matt for years and never worry about him not coming thru.

It is a BA7S. Same as the illuminated light switch, or illuminated FD switch, easy buy online or locally.
So in summation, 90981-11009 = BA7S
So in summation, 90981-11009 = BA7S

i think mr. @CruiserTrash should might have something add here , as we co-authored this factory owners manual step-by-step
my opinion is that the dayz of a incandescent filament clear glass bulb are now the Land of the Lost perhaps ....
This is a Color Temperature Light Emitting Diode to match the Lumen Spectrum of the Factory Amber Translucent " cricket-eye " lenses material the Choke Knob face center ....
