I’m in the process of building a 1982 pick up with a miss match of parts and making the best of it, the plan is to have a 1982 Toyota pick up crustomod, with the outside of the truck being left weathered.
The engine transmission wiring and hvac will be provided by a 1999 3rz 5 speed Tacoma donor truck, I’ve been slowly piecing things together and decided to start a build page, nothing about what I’m doing makes sense just like fabrication and Toyotas
Quick list of things done
-frame shorted and rear half built all new body mounts
-front axle rebuild 4.88 gears air locker tundra brake upgrade
-gear driven transfer case rebuilt 4.7 gears twin stick, 23 spline outputs with trailgear adapter to mate to the Tacoma 5 speed transmission
-relocated new transfer case mount skid slate
-2 wd cab converted to fit on 4wd frame
-engine and all running gear have been fitted in the trucks
-4 inch trail gear classic lift
- custom aluminum fuel tank

Im currently working on a rear swing out bumper tailgate and then moving on to wiring, and plumbing as I gather parts.
Thanks for having a look! Happy fabricating

That rear bumper is sweet! Love those wheels! This is going to be a bad ass rig, nice work!

I am trying to repair the back portion of my bed skirt... if I fail then I am def considering the way you did that rear bumper behind the wheel well. That is sharp!

That rear bumper/swing out/tailgate combo is freaking amazing. Well done!
