Hey good seeing you at fall crawl. Well if all goes well I will own a 40. Due to finalize on Saturday. So do you recommend that mod for lower gears or go to an orion case?

Hey Jeff. Congratulations on your upcoming 40Hey good seeing you at fall crawl. Well if all goes well I will own a 40. Due to finalize on Saturday. So do you recommend that mod for lower gears or go to an orion case?
Cool thanks. Safely at my placeHey Jeff. Congratulations on your upcoming 40
I cannot comment on the Orion as I have not owned one. Hit up @doseman on PM. I know he has run one for a b little bit. I can tell you the reduction on low is awesome and the small amount of under drive in high is nice
Looks like a solid rig! That 2F engine is a beastMeet Retro, a 1981 40 with 113k on the clock. While the body has several rusty spots the frame and motor are in great condition. Original 2F with all the smog still attached and starts and runs really well. For now I am just going to drive it around locally. Cannot stop smiling since I got it last week. First order of business was to get rid of the pink. Yes, a rattle can primer to start with. Can work more on that later. View attachment 3727604View attachment 3727605

Those SS3 or Nacho lights?A few small things going on lately. Was able to get the tub and roll bar pulled back over from the flop. At least now I can put a soft top on to get me through the winter. Heater blows hot so good to go even on the coldest days.

Cleaned up the "rats" nest I had in the glove box following the TBI install last summer

Installed some fog lights I had sitting on the shelf from another project. Specifically for a weekend trip over to WV and knowing the weather was going to be rainy and foggy.

Auxbeam. I purchased those 3 years ago and never used them. Don't remember exactly what I paid but remember they were not very expensive. Good bang for the buck. Those SS3 or Nacho lights?
We got lucky, thanks Matt. Ill take the snow any day but that ice is very unforgiving.Glad to see this storm wasn’t ice or snow for y’all.
thx, I was thinking SS3 for me then remembered I won some Nacho last August in Co. I’m sure they are all good, just like the beam spread you showed.Auxbeam.
